If you need chicken or turkey, opt for the skinless type. When it comes to these animals, they store much cholesterol in their skin. You should lessen your cholesterol intake because it is what causes heart disease and similar ailments. Generally, cholesterol is only found in animal products. This does not mean that you should not eat meat, just do it in moderation.
