Safety at Home
Safety measures should be practised at home first and foremost. Doing so can make you and your family feel safe in the comfort of your house. Walk through your entire home, garage and yard to check the possible safety hazards.
Another thing to do is to review fire prevention measures — keep flammable materials away from sources of heat, make sure electronics and appliances are unplugged when not in use, install smoke detectors around the house, etc. These things are very easy to do, yet are very effective to prevent fire.
Also, prevent slips and falls by clearing the floor of toys and clothing. Avoid accidental food poisoning by storing cleaning supplies, paint, gasoline, pesticides and the like away from easy reach. Furthermore, apply precaution when doing home improvement projects. Follow these tips for a safe house to live in.
